手織八寸名古屋帯：唐組ピンクぼかし　志垣製

唐組（からくみ）とは、組紐の組み方の一種で、最も高級なものとされます。
正倉院や法隆寺献納御物の中に残されています。
その組織は、平組みで菱文をつくりつつ平面的に組みあげるもので、
平安時代に入ると宮中や公卿が着用する「束帯」の平緒として利用され、
鎌倉時代以降は、この「唐組み」に関する文献資料や遺品も多くなりました。
唐文化の伝来によってもたらされた高級技術です。

その最高級の技で、ぼかしという「織物」では難しい技法を行って、美しい色合いを出しています。
