Made by Toku Yusui II, this is the highest quality Kaga Yuzen homongi. Five cute children are drawn on the beautiful orange-brown background. There are three children crossing a bridge in the front, one child next to the bridge in the back, and one child dancing on the sleeves. This is a wonderful piece of work depicting five children that are large and worth seeing.

Yusui Toku is one of the leading artists of Kaga Yuzen in the Showa era. It is characterized by a design with a Karako motif, and has received high praise worldwide. After his death, his second son, Mitsuruji, became the second Toku Yusui, carrying on the name "Toku" and the aspirations of the first Toku
Yusui. This homongi is the work of the second generation Tokuhisa Yumi (Mr. Mitsuru).
He studied dyeing under his father, Toku Yusui I, and became independent in 1988 and was registered as a Kaga Yuzen artist. The following year, in July 1986, the first Tokuhisa Yusui passed away. He established ``Yusui Mitsuru Kobo'' in 1989, and in July of the same year, he changed the name to ``Yusui Toku Studio'' and assumed the name
2nd generation Yusui Toku.
Mr. Toku Yusui, the second generation, learned from his father and master, the first generation, and inherited his style. His genius expression techniques, exquisite color schemes, and especially detailed depictions of figures have earned him high praise from many
of his fellow artists throughout the ages. You are getting it. The gentle smile on a child's face and the expression of delicate, fine hair are impossible to match. Since his first selection in 1972, he has continued to be active and has won numerous awards. Many of the works are by children, and the five works are very rare.
