The Silk Fabric used to be of a big industry some ten years ago in Japan.

Its prosperity of the era, however, is over now. Silk, at present, is no longer mass-produced
in Japan unfortunately.

Also there exist few craftsmen in Japan who are making silk manually.
The silk market is now saturated with low-priced overseas products.

The Works by skillful craftsmen (have reached bottom prices) these days.

The lacks of apprentices result in reduction of craftsmen, which would create a deep dilemma
in the silk industry.
We wish to introduce these wonderful Works by some of the skilful craftsmen to those who may
have an interest in their Works.
So that more people may have chances to contact with refined Japanese tradition.

Thank you for taking your time,
hoping that you have acquired the information for some of the Japanese silk industry.
